This month, Proof Positive had the opportunity to attend the Council on Autism Services Providers (CASP) Providers Conference in San Francisco, California. Surrounded by leaders in the autism services community, we were reminded of the power that comes from bringing organizations together. This gathering was a convergence of purpose, passion, and progress. Events like this are pivotal for aligning efforts, sharing insights, and driving innovation that benefits the autism community.

Autism services are complex; collaboration is a necessity. When people committed to improving the outcomes of the autism community come together, we have the chance to reflect on shared challenges, exchange evidence-based practices, and elevate standards of care; together, we can increase the collective impact. The conference included conversations about quality of life, meaningful outcomes, and promoting systemic policy change to ensure high-quality service for all. For Proof Positive, being in the room means contributing to and learning from a broader ecosystem committed to the wellbeing of those we support.

What stood out most throughout the conference was the value of in-person connection. While digital communication has its place, nothing compares to the depth of relationships that form when people can be in the same space and engage in thoughtful conversation. These moments build trust, create community, and lay the foundation for long-term partnerships. Whether it was through spontaneous hallway chats or more structured roundtable discussions, we felt a sense of shared mission and belonging.

At Proof Positive, our mission centers on promoting wellbeing for the autism community. Our participation in the CASP conference allowed us to bring that mission into a larger conversation and emphasize wellbeing as a core outcome of autism services. We want a sustainable model of care that puts wellbeing at the forefront.
