Wellbeing is a fundamental human right — not a privilege.
At Proof Positive, this belief drives everything we do. Every person deserves dignity, belonging and the chance to flourish. Yet, too often, the autism and disability communities are left behind in the pursuit of happiness and human rights for all. Many autistic people, families and professionals continue to face loneliness, burnout and barriers to the wellbeing they deserve. We can – and we must – do better. This is why our work must deepen, not slow.
On International Human Rights Day, we join the world in honoring the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and recommit to ensuring the autism community is not left behind in the pursuit of wellbeing for all.
We answer this call with Mindful Urgency—one of our core values. We work purposefully and intentionally to improve wellbeing outcomes… now. Our Autism Wellbeing Alliance is committed to creating a world where wellbeing wins for all. We provide free resources for the autism community to practice the skills of happiness. The Wellbeing Revolution begins today, and we’re ensuring no one is left behind.Â
A Year of Meaningful ImpactÂ
To that end, we are eager to share our 2025 Annual Report, which highlights a year of meaningful impact and charts a clear path forward as we enter 2026. With more than 5,000 Alliance Members, thousands of new learners, and a growing library of free wellbeing tools and resources, the movement towards flourishing for all is gaining momentum.Â
This year, we:Â
- Released the first-ever Autism Wellbeing Roundtable publication
- Began developing Level Up Happiness, a digital wellbeing game with Dartmouth’s play2Prevent Lab
- Launched the bi-annual Autism Wellbeing Survey
- Expanded free wellbeing skills across Movement, Sleep, Strengths, Nature, and more
- Saw partner organizations embed wellbeing practices into schools, clinics and community services
Each milestone brings us closer to a world where wellbeing is the expectation, not the exception.
Our Path ForwardÂ
As we enter 2026, our focus is clear: turn awareness into activation, and activation into systems-level change. We will continue to scale access to free tools, advance collaborative research and strengthen the collective voice of the Autism Wellbeing Alliance.
As we reflect on Human Rights Day, we are reminded that the pursuit of wellbeing is not just an individual journey; it’s a collective effort. Join our Autism Wellbeing Alliance, be a part of the Wellbeing Revolution, and help us ensure wellbeing is a right for everyone.
