Dr. Jiedi Lei is a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Oxford and a clinical psychologist whose work focuses on supporting the mental wellbeing of autistic children and young people. Using a developmental and strengths-based approach, her research explores the cognitive, social, and environmental factors that shape wellbeing and identity across childhood and adolescence. Dr. Lei is passionate about translating research into practical, evidence-based supports and interventions that improve quality of life for autistic youth and their families. She is especially interested in person-centred approaches that foster positive autism identity and more effective mental health support.
